• We live on-site:
The directors of World Link Partners have lived and worked on-site in Guatemala,
for the past 5 years..
This provides on-site services that donors may not have
access to on their own. .
Identification of projects because we live on-site, we
have exposure to projects in Guatemala. Having close
connections with numerous projects and project directors
provides the opportunity to determine the quality of the
projects.
We
monitor projects closely to insure accountability and
transparency.
World Link maintains
objectivity: Because World Link does not manage
our own projects, we have the freedom to look at numerous projects,
and identify the one's we consider the most appropriate and
effective. This insures greater objectivity.
maintains flexibility, and allows freedom to discontinue
support if there is a concern.
• World Link
maintains a strong commitment to its donors, and keeps them
appraised of the disbursement of their contributions and
progress of projects they support.
World
Link encourages donors to travel to Guatemala and visit the
projects they provide support for. World Link will
make all the necessary arrangements.
90% of the contribution goes
to project support this includes capital for loans, food
supplements, training and education. The remaining 10%
goes to pay 1 part-time salary, website and on-line
expenses, and travel.
All of our staff are volunteers and nothing is deducted for
rent or overhead expenses.
